Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") set forth the conditions and procedures for using DESTIGER (the "Service"), including saju/compatibility content, and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the operator and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Operator" means the entity that provides and manages the Service.
- "User" means any person who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- "Content" means all items provided through the Service, including saju/compatibility results, text, design, images, characters, and world-building elements.
Article 3 (Effect and Changes to the Terms)
- These Terms become effective when posted on the Service or otherwise made available to Users.
- The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws. If amended, the Operator will provide prior notice of the effective date and the reasons for the changes.
- If a User continues to use the Service after the amended Terms take effect, the User will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
Article 4 (Service Description and Characteristics)
- The Service provides saju/compatibility and related results based on the User's input (date of birth and birth time).
- The Service may be used without registration or sign-in.
- The Operator may change the Service (features, UI, delivery method, etc.) as needed for service improvements or operational reasons.
Article 5 (For Entertainment/Reference Only)
- Content provided through the Service is for entertainment and reference purposes only and does not guarantee any definitive predictions or factual outcomes regarding an individual's life or relationships.
- The Content does not replace professional advice, including medical, legal, financial/investment, or psychological/therapeutic advice.
- Real relationships are built through effort and communication between parties. For important decisions, Users should rely on their own judgment and seek professional advice when necessary.
Article 6 (Advertisements)
- The Operator may display advertisements to operate the Service, and the Service may include advertising services such as Google Ad Manager(GAM).
- During ad delivery, Google and its partners may use technologies such as cookies. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
- If a User accesses third-party websites/services through ads, the User is responsible for reviewing the third party's terms and policies, and the Operator is not responsible for issues arising from third-party services.
Article 7 (User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not engage in any of the following:
- Interfering with normal operation of the Service (automated requests, excessive traffic, crawling/scraping, etc.)
- Unauthorized copying, redistribution, reverse engineering, source analysis, or attempts to bypass security measures of the Content/system
- Infringing the rights of the Operator or third parties (copyright, trademarks, portrait/publicity rights, etc.)
- Forcing or inducing ad clicks or manipulating ad performance by improper means
- Illegal acts, fraud, distribution of malware, interference with others' use of the Service, or any other violations of applicable laws
If any prohibited conduct is suspected or confirmed, the Operator may restrict access to the Service or take other necessary measures.
Article 8 (Intellectual Property)
- Copyrights and all other intellectual property rights in the Service and Content (including DESTIGER/SAJUVERSE world, characters, logos, text/design/video/images, etc.) belong to the Operator or the rightful owners.
- Users may use the Content only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Without the Operator's prior written consent, Users must not copy, distribute, sell, create derivative works from, or otherwise commercialize the Content.
Article 9 (Service Changes, Suspension, and Disclaimer)
- The Operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service as needed for operational or technical reasons.
- The Operator may limit liability to the extent permitted by law for service disruptions caused by circumstances beyond the Operator's reasonable control, including force majeure, communication failures, server/hosting failures, or third-party service failures (including advertising).
- The Operator is not liable for outcomes arising from the interpretation or use of the Content, unless such outcomes are caused by the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 10 (Privacy)
Matters related to personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
1) General Rule
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute between the Operator and a User arising out of or relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
2) Exception for Mandatory Consumer Protection Laws
If mandatory consumer protection laws (including rules on governing law and jurisdiction) of the User's country/region of residence apply, this Article shall be limited to the extent required by such mandatory provisions, and the User retains rights granted under those laws.
3) Notice for EEA/UK Consumers
For consumers residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), the right to bring claims in the courts of their country of residence may be recognized to the extent permitted by applicable laws.
